Moving On....

Last night, Colt found out that he has been accepted at WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming. This is the school he has wanted to attend since he was about 12. The only scary part of the news is that he will start school on June 30, meaning he will only have 1 month between graduation and starting school. Now the fun of finding scholarships and applying for finacial aid begins... Wish us luck!

Senior Ball

It is so hard for me to believe that Colt is a senior this year. I am starting to have major anxiety about him leaving home and heading out on his own. I am glad that he and Rachel have been able to have so much fun together this year. Tonight is Senior Ball and they decided to come spend some time at home before they left for the dance.

First Snow...

Water Works

They just aren't happy unless they are playing in the water. Why it needed to go in their pockets, I'm not sure, but maybe they thought they could save it for later. I guess Jeff got tired of the boys backwashing in his water bottle, so he came up with a creative solution.

Colt's Car Project

Here are a few pictures of what Colt has been working on in the garage. This is the engine that he pulled out of his camaro and rebuilt to race. I wish I could explain what he has done, but it makes no sense to me. All I know is that it is bigger, faster, and stronger. His main goal is to beat his girlfriend, Rachel, at the track.... I guess the real test will be when he drops it in the car and tries to start it :)
