Colt's Birthday Present

Colt came home from school today and told us that he has been invited to go on a trip to California in February (over his 18th birthday). When we asked how he got invited, he very calmly told us that he scored second on a state-wide high school automotive technology test. "It was easy stuff," was his exact response. Anyway, they will go to Boyd Coddington's (he's one of the guys on tv) Custom Hotrod shop, Jesse James' West Coast Chopper shop, and go to the NHRA National Drag Finals at Pamona Beach. Not a bad way to spend his birthday. He has also been invited to take the hands-on skills test later in February (scholarships on the line). We are really proud that he has always focused on his goals and is now seeing his work pay off. Congrats, Colt!

Grandpa, Rob, Jeff , Clint and Pepper on the annual "Day After Thankgiving Hunt." The best part was they didn't have to get up at 5:00 am to beat the crowds at the Christmas sales.

Trey found out that if he crawls into the washing maching he can make the tub rock back and forth. He was having so much fun that Teegan decided he wanted in on the action, so into the dryer he went. The only problem was that the dryer was full of clean clothes and it doesn't rock, so he got a little upset. Sorry about the gross noses--winter in Cache Valley!

Cade and Cody both competed at a regional wrestling meet last Friday and Saturday. They were grouped with other kids according to grade and weight. Both of them won the gold medals in their groups and Jeff and I managed to avoid heart attacks while watching.
