Jeff's Adventure

Last night Jeff was in what could have been a very serious accident. Thanks to a seatbelt, airbag, and big truck he walked out of the hospital with some seperated ribs and a seatbelt bruise.

He was driving from Hyrum to Providence about 12:30 am and came up on the back of a tractor, with no lights, pulling a manure spreader. By the time he saw it, he didn't have time to stop. He hit the speader at about 50 mph.

For those of us who judge accidents by body damage, I have included those pictures. For those who understand motors (for you Shane, Bradon, and Colt) and I included some of those too.

Please, please, please....Buckle up...

Halloween

The twins were the talk of the neighborhood thanks to Ashlee and her creativity. I told her I wanted to do salt and pepper shakers in honor of Grandpa Marden, but she went the extra step to make them Dalmation Puppy Salt and Peppers. Cody wanted to be a Zombie Biker and by that point I felt like a crazy, mad women. So....

My next excuse....

I do have a few Halloween pics, but didn't get them posted yet because I spent the night at the hostipal with Jeff. He was in a really horrible accident (pictures of that will follow, too), but is doing ok today. Thank goodness for seatbelts and airbags. PLEASE USE THEM!!!! The good news is there are no broken bones, just a lot of brusing and swelling. He is having a hard time breathing, but just because it hurts so bad. The bad news is, he was driving a rental because his truck is in the shop getting some body work done. Good thing for insurance. I hope to get all the pics uploaded later today.
