Last night, when I finally got the Teegan and Trey to sleep about 1:00 am (they are both sick), I just needed a minute to breathe. It was such a beautiful night that I went outside and sat under the big trees in our backyard. The moon and the clouds were beautiful, so I decided to experiment with my camera a little bit. I am not a photographer by any means, but some of these pictures turned out kinda fun, so I thought I would share them. They look better when they are a little bigger, but you can get the idea. By the way, I did get to bed eventually--about 3:00 this morning, after the boys both woke up again :)

Colt and Rachel
Some of you have met Rachel and some haven't, but if you want a picture of Colt, you can bet she is going to be in it, too. I never have to worry about where they are or what they are doing, though. I only need to look under the hood of the nearest project car. Colt is trying to finish his Camaro; Rachel is finishing a Dodge Dart and is working on a sponorship for a rail dragster.

Teegan and Trey
I know some of you will think they need their own section, and one day when it isn't 11:00 pm, I will probably do that, but for now they go together. Even though they are 18 months old now, they are still pretty little (only about 22 lbs. each). Developmentally, they are right on track, and learn new things--and new ways to cause trouble--everyday. I think pictures are the best way to describe what life is like with them, so I hope you enjoy these.
Cody
Cody makes me sooooo tired! This kid has more energy than I would ever know what to do with. It is a good thing that he is really a great helper around the house and with the babies. And thank goodness for sports! Cody's baseball team won the city championship this year. He is one league below Cade, so they didn't have to compete against each other and Cade was really supportive of Cody's team.
Coders is in the 3rd grade this year and is excited to start school. I just hope his teachers are ready for him!
Cade
Whew....we made it through baseball season! Cade played on a team where everyone else was playing for the first time. Although it was frustrating for him, he learned to be a pretty good sport. The team didn't really do very well in the playoffs, but Cade had some great plays including a grand slam. I'm not sure why I don't have any good baseball pictures of him. I was probably too busy chasing the twins around the park and trying to keep them off the diamond. I will have to do better with the picture thing.
This picture is from his last birthday party with his best friend, Sam. Seems like when we lived in Hyrum, we were always driving to Logan. Now that we live near Logan, we are always driving to Hyrum.
Clint
Eat, sleep, breathe...Paintball. It is as essential to his life as any of those other things. He has proven to all of us that he is serious about competing professionally and is well on his way. He is now part of a sponsored division team and will head up his own team beginning in September.
Already a sophomore, he has grown 8 inches in the past year and has matured just as quickly. If you haven't seen him in a while, you probably wouldn't recognize him.
Besides paintball, Clint loves photography, baseball, playing with the babies (yes, it's true--he is a great big brother) and girls....lots of them.
Colt
Colt is so busy that we hardly ever see him at home any more. He is working at both Shopko and Hawker Automotive. For those of you that haven't heard, he has a new girlfriend, Rachel. She is one of the Hawker clan and she drives a racecar at drag strips from Salt Lake to Boise. Can't imagine what the attraction is there, can you?
He is starting his senior year and will be attending only two classes at Mountain Crest. He will spend the rest of the year at Bridgerland getting ready to go to WyoTech next fall. His plan is to study automotive restoration and design. He is currently rebuilding his 92 Camaro and learning quickly that working on cars is kinda like milking cows...it makes you say some bad words sometimes.
I just realized today that I don't have any recent pictures of him (probably because he isn't home long enough for me to take one), but I will get one soon and get it posted.
Ashlee Swears this is Easier
Trey is showing you just how scared he is about the idea of mom trying to create a blog. I guess we'll see if I am smart enough to figure this out. Ashlee promised me it was easier to create a blog than to try and e-mail everyone. And you know me, I am all about making life easier these days. Besides I think the boys might have fun sharing some things with the family, also.
I think I will just start out with a little section about each of the boys and see what happens from there. I'm sure I will not be as diligent as Ash, but I will try and hit the high points. I still need to figure out how to upload videos, so for now it will just be pictures. You may have already seen some of these, but lots of them should be new.
